Surprisingly sweet!

I enjoyed playing through it.   Soda is super charming.  There is so much said and so much more unsaid, my imagination filled in the rest to make a custom world.  Difficult choice at the end.  Thanks for this game!

So glad you liked it! I'm glad it was a hard choice, too. Thanks for playing :)

Goodbye soda…

Wow, what a surprising concept, that you've created a very convincing reality around! Like, of course soda would have a winning personality, and of course that's what their favorite food would be lol. Makes me wonder about all of the ordinary, non-emotionally freighted "stuff" that's around us during the pivotal moments in our lives. Thanks for a great game!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Hmm, it would be interesting to see other things' perspectives on our human dramas...maybe someone else will write those. :)

Such an interesting concept. This takes conversations at the dinner table to whole new level. Great job personifying a usually inanimate object. Cheers!

Thank you! I still don't really understand where the idea came from, but I'm glad it ended up making some kind of sense ^_^

When I was quite young, I was in Texas, or maybe Arizona, somewhere hot and dry anyway, and I was at a gas station, and someone gave me a bottle (can?) of Dr Pepper to try for the first time. I sat down to drink it, not knowing that I was sitting on a fire ant nest.

Needless to say I got bitten! And forever more the taste, even the concept, of Dr Pepper was associated with those ants — and I’ve never drunk it since. That’s the memory that came back reading this story, so I totally get how certain tastes bring back those key moments.

It's so interesting to hear other people's soda stories—this one is particularly visceral. Thanks for reading and for sharing!

A game that manages to evoke something in a little space, with some good dialogue lines and just one choice. I liked it!

Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it!

Non-Coke and Pepsi brand soft drinks do bring back a lot of memories for me. This captured that well. There's more this did for me, but I won't spoil it here. The choice you gave was a strong one and nontrivial even if I could just save and reload to see both branches.

Thank you, that's very nice to hear! I spent a while trying to balance the choices, so I'm glad it wasn't too easy to decide.
