I really like this game. As a fan of word puzzles and variety puzzles, I really enjoyed this. My favorite puzzles were the ones with more unique concepts, like the dog name one and the Creatine Crunch cereal (which took me forever). The story is a nice pacing break after a few puzzles, and unlocking the hint section is a nice touch for those stuck towards the end. I do have one gripe with the America puzzle, I feel like the final answer can be many words beyond the intended solution, which doesn't seem to connect directly to the puzzle, but perhaps I missed something. I think the hardest puzzles were the America one and the Creatine Crunch one, I used a hint early on the fruit wrap one and got it immediately, kinda wish I wasn't intimidated by the comments. This is a minor thing, but I feel it would be better if the discounts weren't all 25%, while it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things it would just be a touch more realism to connect with. Great work overall, I'll be looking forward to more work in the future.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. That's a good point about the discounts, and it's something I would've liked to put more thought into if I'd had the time. I will revisit that in the next release, as well as clarifying the American Aromas puzzle!
FYI, i get this error too, latest version of Firefox. Looks like you fixed it, but i still get the error messages as Tahnan posted. I have noscript and ublock running but i tried disabling both and no joy. Right clicking the frame and choosing "show this frame only" or "Frame in new window/tab" does work. Thanks.
Thank you for the info! I sure hope this is fixed now for people newly opening the game. (I also added a bit more flavortext and optional hint access for the first puzzle while I was at it!)
oh no! I was (ironically!) in the middle of talking to Harrison--he'd just told me about his childhood, which is a weird thing to type in the comments on a game about a puzzle app in a grocery store--and I got:
An unexpected error has occurred Go back to the previous passage. Hard restart, clearing all progress and beginning from the start.
If it helps, the console is telling me "Uncaught ReferenceError: hints_discovered is not defined".
EDIT: Aaaaand done. (I ended up having to open the frame in a new tab...computers were a mistake.) Delightful as always. I think I even spotted a few of the Enigmarch prompts! (I'm working my way through it...very slowly. Working on an idea for Day 12. Over at Dreamwidth; feel free to check out, or ignore, as you see fit. :-) )

Only three puzzles in, still stuck on the frozen pizza one, but I love this game so far. I'll give a more detailed review once I finish the full game.

Argh, thank you so much for letting me know! I just fixed the error (and your progress should be saved if you hit "go back" and refresh!)
editing to add: I was wrong, it does work now, but you actually have to refresh AND restart if you run into this glitch :(

Cool! A slow EnigMarch sounds pretty great. I solved Day 9 and will check out the rest when I need another work break :)
